Privacy policy

SEO Rank Fixer (“SEO Rank Fixer”, “we”) is operated by Iclick Solutions Inc., doing business as SEO Rank Fixer. This policy explains what data SEO Rank Fixer collects when you use it, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it and how you can delete it. It applies to the SEO Rank Fixer website and app.

The short version

  • SEO Rank Fixer only reads your search data. It never changes your website, your Search Console or your Bing Webmaster Tools settings.
  • We use your data only to show you your reports and fixes. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
  • You can disconnect Google or delete your account at any time from Settings; deleting your account deletes your data.

Google user data

When you sign in with Google and connect Google Search Console, SEO Rank Fixer asks Google for these permissions:

  • Your name, email address and profile picture (sign-in): to create your account, show who is signed in, and contact you about your account.
  • View Search Console data for your verified sites (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly, read-only): to list your sites so you can choose which to add, and to import each chosen site’s search performance (searches, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, countries and devices) for up to 16 months, then keep it up to date.

We use this data only to provide SEO Rank Fixer’s features to you:

  • the reports, charts and dashboard for your sites;
  • the ranked list of fixes SEO Rank Fixer finds in your data, and measuring the result of fixes you mark done;
  • AI features you choose to run (for example rewriting a page title, or asking a question about your traffic): the relevant part of your data is sent to our AI provider to write the answer, as described below.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to anyone except the service providers listed below that help us run SEO Rank Fixer, when needed to provide the features you use, to comply with the law, or with your permission. People at SEO Rank Fixer do not read your data except with your permission, for security reasons (such as investigating abuse), or to comply with the law.

SEO Rank Fixer's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can read the policy at https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy.

You can stop SEO Rank Fixer’s access at any time: disconnect Google in SEO Rank Fixer’s Settings (this also asks Google to revoke our access), or remove SEO Rank Fixer from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Other data we collect

  • Bing Webmaster Tools data, if you add a Bing API key: your sites’ daily clicks and impressions from Bing and the links Bing reports to your pages. The key is stored encrypted and used only to read this data.
  • Your public web pages: to suggest fixes, SEO Rank Fixer reads the public pages of the sites you add (title, description, main heading and text), the same way a search engine does.
  • Files you upload, such as a Search Console links export: we store the links they contain, not the file.
  • Things you enter: brand terms, notes, questions you ask the AI, and your settings (such as your experience level).
  • Your team: the email addresses you invite to your workspace. We email them the invite link. People who join can see that workspace's data.
  • Billing: your plan and credit usage. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Technical data: sign-in sessions and basic server logs (such as errors and request times) to keep SEO Rank Fixer secure and working.

AI features

AI features are powered by a large language model from Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (GPT). When you run one, the data it needs (for example a page’s title and text and the searches it appears for) is sent to that provider to produce the answer. Some features also search the public web. The provider processes this data on our behalf to provide the service and, under its API terms, does not use it to train its models; we ask it not to store requests where it allows. AI answers can be wrong; check them before you use them.

Service providers

We use these providers to run SEO Rank Fixer. They process data only on our instructions:

  • Google (sign-in and Search Console data) and Microsoft Bing (Bing Webmaster Tools data), at your request;
  • Anthropic and OpenAI (AI features);
  • Stripe (payments);
  • Supabase (database hosting) and our web hosting provider;
  • an email provider, to send account notices.

Cookies and storage

SEO Rank Fixer uses a cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser’s storage to remember small preferences such as your theme and the last site you opened. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Google access tokens and Bing keys are stored encrypted. Each workspace can only see its own data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you without undue delay if a breach affects it.

How long we keep data

  • Search data: while the site is in your account.
  • Page text read from your website: deleted after 30 days (we keep the title, description and main heading).
  • AI results you ran: kept in your account so you can see them again.
  • When you remove a site, its data is deleted. When you disconnect Google, the sites imported through it and their data are deleted. When you delete your account, everything above is deleted. Backups are overwritten within our normal backup cycle.

Your rights

You can see and export your data in the app, correct your settings, and delete your account at any time in Settings. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California) you may have further rights, such as to access, correct, delete or move your data, or to object to some processing. To use them, email support@seorankfixer.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

SEO Rank Fixer is a business tool and is not meant for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
