Ahrefs Brand Radar measures how your brand shows up in AI answers using a database of more than 505 million prompts, plus your own tracked prompts, across Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot. SEO Rank Fixer is a smaller alternative: it checks ChatGPT and Claude for the questions you save and turns your Google Search Console data into ranked, AI-written fixes, from $49 a month for 15 sites. For research across a whole market, Brand Radar is the more powerful tool.
What is Ahrefs Brand Radar?
Brand Radar is Ahrefs' AI visibility product. According to its product page, it works two ways:
- AI Visibility Index: a large, pre-collected set of prompts. Ahrefs says every prompt is modeled from real searches in its keyword database and expanded into natural questions using People Also Ask and related searches. It cites 505M+ prompts in total, with the largest share on Google AI Overviews.
- Custom Prompts: the buyer questions you define, checked daily on the platforms you choose.
The page also mentions AI crawler and traffic data and off-site sources such as YouTube, TikTok and Reddit, which matter because AI answers often cite them.
What does Ahrefs Brand Radar cost?
Ahrefs' pricing page, checked October 2026, listed the Brand Radar AI add-on as “from $199/mo” and these packages for tracking only your own prompts. One check is one prompt on one platform in one location.

The Brand Radar page adds that custom prompts are free with every paid Ahrefs plan from Lite up, and the base Ahrefs plans were listed at $129 (Lite), $249 (Standard), $449 (Advanced) and $1,499 (Enterprise, annual commitment) a month. Neither page said plainly whether Brand Radar can be bought without an Ahrefs plan, so check with Ahrefs. The product page also showed other figures, such as a price “for all models”, without explaining how they relate, so we have left them out.
What does Brand Radar do better than SEO Rank Fixer?
- Research without prompts. The index lets you see how AI answers treat any brand or topic at scale. SEO Rank Fixer only checks the prompts you save.
- Platform coverage. AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Claude. We check ChatGPT and Claude today.

The index is modeled from search data, so it reflects topics people search, not your exact buyer conversations; custom prompts fill that gap.
